About the event

In stillness, we hear the voice of our true nature.  Mind, Body, Spirit recalibrate when we retreat from daily distractions and commune with the natural world.  The practice of yoga is one of quieting the mind, stilling our ego-driven narratives and seeking guidance from within.

When we retreat from distractions, we awaken to awareness.  The yoga teachings are designed to encourage quiet introspection and shared community with mindful individuals who are intentional in exploring and practicing the spiritual and physical disciplines of hatha/vinyasa yoga.

This retreat aims to replenish your soul and offer a unique yoga experience for each participant, tailored to their level, motivated by the principles and spirit of yoga. Daily practices at 7 am and 4 pm will be shared by all participants, whether beginner or advanced.  Showing up as you are, with a beginner's mind, remaining open and curious, is 99% of the discipline of yoga. In the morning, we will gather for morning meditation and yoga to awaken our body and mind and celebrate gratitude for the day. The afternoon practice will help us to restore and nourish our connection with one's self. Other ceremonies throughout the week will include a sound bath, yoga nidra, cacao ceremony and group energy healing.

Join us in beautiful Haramara Retreat Center for a magical week that will attune your body to its natural rhythm, recalibrate your chakras and open your unconscious to align to the divine, in the breathtaking Riviera Nayarit of Sayulita, Mexico.  Please silence your cellphones, allow your mind to free itself of external distractions and pack light while on retreat.  The teacher is within!

Over the course of this week-long yoga vacation you will have ample free time to luxuriate in the beautiful retreat grounds, the amazing saltwater infinity pool and hot tub.  Enjoy the healing ocean waters and private beaches. Rest, restore, and deeply connect with new and old friends. Savor delicious gourmet meals, explore the local area, heal, learn, and celebrate YOU!

Haramara is a private retreat center in the jungle outside of Sayulita, Mexico.  Cabins nestled in the hillside are open air, and free of electricity, internet or outside visitors.

All cabins have private baths with hot water and luxurious open air showers.  Fall asleep to the sounds of the waves on the shore and the jungle wildlife.

Small group workshops will be offered to introduce and broaden knowledge of advanced asanas, awareness practices, and energy healing.
